Climate Change Panel Defies Trump Ban

Columbia University’s Earth Institute, New York State and other partners have reassembled the National Climate Assessment advisory committee disbanded by the Trump administration last August. The most recent findings on climate change were published in November 2017. These documented the ongoing sea-level rise and extreme weather among other factors. Details about the issue and the establishment of the new committee were detailed in a press release issued by the Earth Institute on January 3.
